Introduction please!
Last Week:
- Clemson vs NCState- 45 points in the first half by Clemson. Clemson dominated NC State with a 59-35 victory. Clemson scored an impressive 45 points in the first halfAd1. Cade Klubnik threw for three touchdowns and added a 55-yard scoring run2.
- USC Vs Michigan - Michigan edged out USC with a last-minute touchdown, winning 27-24. Kalel Mullings scored the game-winning touchdown on a fourth-and-goal run with 37 seconds left
- Mizzu Vs Vandy- Missouri survived a double-overtime thriller against Vanderbilt, winning 30-27. Missouri kicker Blake Craig redeemed himself by nailing a 37-yard go-ahead kick in the second overtime
- Tennessee vs Oklahoma - In their SEC opener, the Tennessee Volunteers defeated the Oklahoma Sooners 25-15 on. This game marked a significant return for Tennessee’s coach, Josh Heupel, to his alma mater.
Questions:
- Washington State is 4-0 right now. Their path is extremely easy to go 12-0. How happy will a 2 loss Alabama be to play against WS in a playoff game? Or is Washington State legit?
- Tennessee is lining up to be the team to beat in the SEC they have Alabama and Georgia on the schedule, otherwise an easy road. Will a 10-2 Tennessee be in the playoffs if they lose both of those games?
- Team that has surprised you this season, for the better and for the worst?
- Heisman Odds: Who do you think stays the most consistent to win?
Should Carson Beck be on this list, or will he sneak in?
Games of the week
- 20 Oklahoma State at #23 Kansas State- kstate favored by 4.5. Both teams have good offenses with challenges in key positions.
- #15 Oklahoma at Auburn: Sooners are a 2.5 point favorite. Both teams are looking to bounce back after poor showings last week. This game will be about defense since both teams can’t put much together on offense. Oklahoma wins
- #19 Illinois at #9 Penn State - Penn State is heavily favored to win. 17.5 points. 10th ranked rushing offense in the country with a powerhouse defense. If Illinois can contain the rush with their defense, they can keep it close. I’ll stick with Penn State for the win, but they won’t cover.
- Kentucky at #6 Ole Miss- Jaxon Dart will be all over Kentucky. Although the defense for Kentucky held Georgia back, I think ole Miss is looking like the best offense in the sec. Kentucky gets another Loss.
- #15 Louisville at #16 Notre Dame - since Notre Dame‘s loss to Northern Illinois. They have been putting up plenty of points. Louisville will be a good match for them.
- #2 Georgia at #4 Alabama- Georgia is favored by two, but looking at how they showed against Kentucky, I am pretty sure that Alabama’s defense is better than Kentucky and much better off as well. .
- Liberty at App State- Liberty is favored by 3.5. Both teams have solid players at Qb. But Liberty will win this one.
Potential Upset?
Stanford at #17 Clemson- with Clemson favored by 21.5 and having exceptional performances the last few weeks, you can see why.
Arkansas beats #24 Texas A&M- this is a pretty even matchup if you ask me. Aggies are favored by 5.5.
