    In January 2010, JoAnn Matouk Romain runs a quick errand to get gas, followed by attending a 15-minute prayer service, then she walks into the freezing lake across the street to take her own life. Or at least that's what police say. But from the very moment they notify the family about her case, they know something isn't right... and the deeper they look, they learn that nothing is what it seems.

My absolute favourite podcast ever

I absolutely flipping love this podcast. Ashley and Brit are brilliant and Ashley brings each case to life in a brilliant way. I think I’ve now listened to every episode and they’re my favourite listen while I’m out walking my dogs. I dread to think what my neighbours think if they hear me listening to crime stories in the street hahaha. Don’t care, I love you guys. I’m always excited when Monday comes around as I know there’s a new episode to listen to ❤️
