  • Sachiko is from Japan, and her journey to Australia started in 1987. She worked in Victoria teaching Japanese in a school. Eventually, she met her Australian husband and got married. She ensured that her children are bilingual and able to converse in English and Japanese when she returned to Japan, where she stayed for 23 years.
