  • Torben Beltz has had a highly successful career as a top coach on the WTA Tour. He helped fellow German Angie Kerber, to three Major Titles and an Olympic Silver Medal. Kerber's victories included a big one over Serena Williams. Beltz explains how Angie got the win over the WTA great.

    More recently. Beltz guided Eva Lys to the 4th round of the Australian Open 2025 as a Lucky Loser. Lys found out 5 minutes before that she was going to take the place of the injured Anna Kalinskaya and faced Kim Birrel in the first round of the main draw. Lys won that match and two more before being taken out by an in-form Iga Swiatek.
