  • In this lesson, Pushpendra further elaborates upon the concept of "Assertiveness" which was introduced in the previous lesson. Here, in particular, he stresses upon the need to become and remain assertive. He begins with identifying three kinds of people the passive, the aggressive, and the assertive Passive people are on one end of the spectrum with their inherent inactivity and submissiveness, while the aggressive people are on the other end of the spectrum with harsh demands on other people and brash over-confidence. The lesson reiterates that the happy moderation of the two is the assertive person who exercises his/her rights without violating the rights of others. The lesson systematically provides principal characteristics of these three categories in a comprehensive tabular form The following questions are meant to develop more understanding of the topic.
