Having what we need is a form of gratitude. It’s being able to take inventory of our life and know that God is, was, and forever will be our source and provider.

When I first started the "Dear God, I'm Grateful" podcast, it was a way to cope with the grief of losing my father. After more than 550 days of practicing gratitude, I realized just how much it helped me through the toughest times in my life.

At one point, I stopped creating content and recording this podcast because I felt like I had nothing new to be grateful for every day. But then I was reminded—God calls us to always be thankful, always be grateful.

Psalm 100 reminds us to enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise, for the Lord is good and His faithful love endures forever. Today, I’m thankful for the gift of gratitude and the joy it brings. 🙏

Today, all of my love and gratitude goes out to my amazing husband. Words can’t express how much I appreciate him and truly just love spending time with him.

In a world where marriage is not celebrated that much, I thank God for my beloved and the divine connection he made when placing us together. I am honored and humbled to spend each day with a man of great compassion, authority, strength and heart; and I cherish the many years we’ve spent building and the many more we have ahead of us!
