  • Episode 18: Listen to Your Heart's Desire
    Sep 1 2023

In this episode I talk about listening to your heart's desire. Your "heart voice" is your intuition, your soul - hearing what she has to say is your inner compass guidance.

It came to me in my morning meditation that listening to my heart's desire in EVERY aspect of my life is my path - you don't get to pick and choose which areas you listen to your heart and which areas you don't. Getting crystal clear on what your heart is telling you and then acting accordingly is your destined path.

My heart's desire is to help other women on their own journey. There was a time when I had no clue what I was doing. I felt lost - I didn't even recognize myself anymore. I pieced together what I now know to be the start of my spiritual journey. Looking back, it would have been so helpful if someone guided me on this. Told me which meditations to start with, which podcasts to listen to, which books to read, what questions to ask during meditations. I pieced it all together myself - and I know from the depths of my heart that this is what I here to do - help YOU find yourself again. Find your heart's voice, listen to what she has to say. And the only way to do that is to center yourself through meditation.

Let me help you. Let me guide you. I'm offering a course - 90 Days of Zen - and it's like $25 per week. I'll give you recommendations on which meditations to start with. What journal prompts to start with. What questions to ask during meditations. Being able to calm yourself before the start of a crazy day has moved mountains for me.

We start next week - I'd love for you to join us:

Ashleigh Renard, Author of Swing, and is called "The Carrie Bradshaw for married people" is my guest today. If you want your marriage to feel more connected, more passionate, and more supportive, you have to start somewhere. And as Ashleigh says, we might as well start in the bedroom.

Our conversation today highlights Ashleigh's spiritual journey and how she turned inwards to discover what was really missing from her marriage. She credits her spirituality as her guiding light through her marriage, motherhood, and business owner.

Swing, A memoir of doing it all - is a must read.

Today's episode is more reflections from the past couple of weeks after moving out of my marital home.

It's been heavy, but oh so good. A lot of shadows coming to light.

In this episode, I discuss the changes and realizations here as of late in my own personal relationship with my husband.

At the end of day, the same patterns, fights, thoughts, reactions repeat for years until you figure out the root cause of the problem. Once you can figure out the root of the issue, that is when the game changes and traction is finally able to be made.

The book I discuss in the episode is Heal Your Body by Louise Hay and can be found here. It's a game changer, for sure.

As always, thanks for listening to my journey. If you're at all interested in learning more of what I have done to transform my 42 years of existence into the healed version of myself, send me a DM on Instagram. I can be found @rochelletownsend.pottery.
