  • Drag Race Psychology - Trailer
    Dec 11 2023

Drag Race Psychology hosted by sport psychology professionals, David Smith and Dr. Jason von Stietz, is a podcast where we thrust ourselves deep into each season of Drag Race and review it through the lens of sport psychology. We seek to untuck the psychological processes in the art of drag, the pressures of performance and competition, and what it takes to be “America’s Next Drag Superstar”. Our podcast will feature episodes that will analyze each season of drag race and feature various guest commentators from the field of sport psychology and hopefully even a few guest stars! We hope to release episodes regularly, but there’s a lot of drag race to go through as we start from the beginning. We hope you will join us on this journey as we use our own charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent to find out what it takes to stand out, whether it be in drag, sport, or life.
