Instead of taking advice from 1776, we should take a lesson from Psalm 17:6, which tells us that the battle is the Lord’s. In this verse in Psalms, God’s soldiers in the army of compassion prove that the strength of an army and the effectiveness of weaponry is not enough to win the war and bring lasting change.
