    Zhang Jun is a Chinese serial killer who murdered at least 11 women in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, between 2007 and 2008. Zhang was known as the "Harbin Serial Killer" and the "Monster of Harbin". He was arrested on August 21, 2008, and confessed to his crimes. He was convicted of murder and sentenced to death on January 29, 2009. Zhang was executed on March 19, 2009.
