Since our last episode San Diego Comic-Con and D23 Expo have made their mark on 2024. Sarah Woloski attended both, and she and Tricia Barr dive into the news we are most excited about! Hear about what we could expect from Agatha All Along, arriving September 18th to Disney+. We also explore the upcoming Star Wars offerings: Skeleton Crew (Dec 3), Andor Season 2 (2025), and The Mandalorian and Grogu (May 2026). They also talk about some of their favorite upcoming movies and Broadway shows announced at the Disney Entertainment panel: Zootopia 2, Frozen 3, Moana 2, The Greatest Showman, and Hercules. Tricia and Sarah share their unique perspective, as locals near Walt Disney World and Disneyland respectively, on the Disney Parks panel announcements. Almost a decade ago, Meredith Salenger believed her time playing Barriss Offee had ended. Dave Filoni hinted later he had plans for the character. In Tales of the Empire, Barriss’ motivations to turn against the Jedi in The Clone Wars is explored as is her fate after Order 66. In Tales of the Empire, she reveals the story behind the brooding rage of a Nightsister survivor, who finds strength in her quest for revenge after General Grievous slaughters her clan on Dathomir. Inosanto shared her insight on making the leap to voice acting with Star Wars Fan Sites in an interview that is sure to bring a smile to your face.
