“Aspire to be great in what it is you love to do and then success shall come”

Going after what he truly wants and allowing nothing to stop him. Thomas is an achiever, seeking out knowledge and support and using both to help accomplish financial freedom. '“When you start doing what ever it is that you are passionate about there will always be people who don’t like it or don’t agree with what you're doing. Just keep doing it!” Thomas shared this statement and many others that really capture the keys that have guided him forward.

During our conversation we find out what toll COVID-19 has played on Thomas’s projects. With that being said he still acknowledges this as a time to further his knowledge and perfect his craft. Thomas expresses that his ultimate goal is to achieve financial freedom but that success is a forever journey. However long it takes is just part of that journey. Thomas in addition to providing places to live for the community, also has his real estate license and so not only does he invest in real estate but can sell and guide others in the buying process.

Thomas speaks about the support necessary to achieving goals. On one hand he has his fiancé who’s been in his corner every step of the way ensuring that he is able to meet the guidelines for buying properties and fixing them. On the other hand he has a real estate association that further his experience, networking and knowledge.

When I asked Thomas what it is that his blueprint held that propelled him into this chosen career path he described a situation where he rented from a landlord while in college. this landlord also provided housing to 14 other young men. In this one property alone this Landlord was bringing in $7000 per month. So the question became, “why couldn’t I do that?”

Thomas’s story speaks directly to the core values of fighting the blueprint. Recognizing that there is a different way or an alternative is what fighting the blueprint is all about. Deciding that we want the better alternative is the step we must choose to take in order to live the lives we desire. In this episode we see another way to live life on our own terms. “I don’t think you ever really know when you are successful. I just keep doing what I love!”

Determination, will, and a desire to help others. Renee has always been the type of person that has wanted to show and do her best for others. She has worn many hats along her journey, but that has always been her common theme along the way. Renee, from a young age, was tasked with helping her parents as they did everything they could to advance the medical field. This created a love that has called Renee throughout her life.

Renee has faced her fair share of adversity... battling cancer, being a single mother and choosing to return to school while many others would have called it quits. She has been through it all! Despite this, she’d be the first to say that none of this held her back, only strengthened her resolve. She became empowered by what she’s had to go through.

Renee has worn many hats. Working on a farm, construction, EMS. However, she was called back to where she felt most fulfilled, which is nursing. “The ability to walk in a room and let a patient know just what they need to hear to be able to get their butt up and continue trying.” is what Renee says helps to keep her going. Amongst other things that she explains here in the podcast.

Incredible drive, passion, and love for what it is she does, is why she is on the Fighting The Blueprint podcast. Andre Coulter aka Dre, grew up in a single-parent household striving to be great! A combination of his mother’s love and a tremendous coach and father figure, helped mold the leader I had the pleasure of interviewing.

Dre, now the Franchise Managing Director of ILoveKickBoxing located in Bronx New York, shares with us the discipline, determination and drive necessary to achieve all that he has. Through taekwondo, high school, college and now his career, he walks us through what success means to him and how he continues to go after it through each phase and milestone.

Despite all his accomplishments, Dre has not reached his goal. He expresses that life is a journey in which you’re always moving forward. Constantly learning and trying new things, obtaining new heights and above all else creating more leaders along the way.

Dre has shown me that we have a lot to work towards, and in doing so we can only become better versions of ourselves. This is a true testament to Fighting The Blueprint!

Determination… at 13 years old!

Andrew James knew exactly what he wanted to do and has not stop striving to make it happen. Lead by his will to succeed and consistency we are able to see what exactly got him from high school to the career that he loves.
