Ashley also opens up about the importance of discerning God’s will in her vocation. She reflects on how she balances the roles of teacher and mom while serving the community of Spanish teachers, especially those working in Christian settings. With a strong focus on language acquisition research, Ashley creates resources that not only foster language skills but also encourage the following of Christ in every interaction and lesson.

  • Her Faith at Work
    Oct 29 2024

In this week's episode my friend Jan Touchberry is joining us to share her wisdom as a Firestarter. She's a Jesus-loving, native Texas, living in DFW. Wife to John, mom of 4 and "LaLa" to 3 (so far). She's mildly obsessed with Survivor (yes - She's seen every episode), personality tests (where are my "Green" Enneagram 8s at?) and have more than a little bit of a sweet tooth (she's working on that.)
In 2013 she started her first business and became obsessed with starting businesses and helping others do the same. She is the owner and founder of The Brand Collaborative, specializing in website design, visual branding, and podcast management (but we do a LOT of things).
In her "other life," she's in full-time vocational ministry and love serving the local church in whatever capacity God chooses to use her.

Cyndy Bartelli’s many years as a Human Resource Director and business owner paved the way for great entrepreneurial experiences.

While gaining all of this business experience, however, she was simultaneously exposed to a series of traumas, diseases, family deaths, breakups, and losses that added up to a mountain of secret heartbreak. As a result, Cyndy cultivated a new relationship with our triune God (God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). As she matured spiritually in her relationship with the Lord, she discovered His deep love and miraculous ability to heal all wounds from her past.

Through much prayer and ministry training, Cyndy now combines her business background with her passion for helping others to seek healing from the Lord.

In 2017, she published her first book, The Heart Healer: God’s Response to Personal Prayer in a Hurting World which has brought a new level of hope to readers in many aspects of their lives. The Heart Healer Study Guide soon followed the Heart Healer. Both books are now available in English and Spanish. They are presented privately and in group settings across the U.S.
