  • RunDisney caught us all off guard on September 24, 2024, with the new course map for the 2025 Marathon in January at Walt Disney World. Katelyn, Jenn, Michelle, Guru, Brittany, and Tiff all had initial reactions when the email came through—and you did, too, on Generally Magical’s post (if you haven’t commented yet, jump in and share your thoughts, too!) and on social media overall.

    We thought it would be fun to share our “hot takes” impressions as we are initially processing what the marathon will be like in less than four months. We are all looking forward to being at Marathon Weekend and either cheering or running during the marathon. Hopefully, this new course is a fantastic victory lap for all the marathon training happening right now.
