Simpatico is a producer from South Los Angeles. Describing his style as ‘Lofi Electro-Chill R&B,’ the young artist creates a dreamy nostalgic world of sounds with his lush and expansive productions. It’s the type of music that transports the listener to another level where they can forget their troubles one song at a time.

Growing up in LA, he fell in love with the passionate release of rock music, (having played in different musical acts) but it was the discovery of French house producer Darius that inspired him to start producing. After a few years as a hobbyist, he decided to make a career out of it in 2018. His official debut is the single ‘Moonrise,’ a chilled-out instrumental with nostalgic spacey vibes perfect for nights in candlelight. His most popular single “Tonight” features the talented up and coming smooth singer Ivylesson who brings a catchy, sexy, yet nostalgic track about romance overseas.

MALSI Bio:

MALSI is a singer, songwriter, and producer who fuses her favorite elements of R&B, jazz, soul, and pop to create emotionally jarring and cutting-edge music. Her trademark is in vocal production.

Before becoming MALSI, she sang lead vocals in the jazz/funk band Jesus, the Crazy, and the Bad Kids. Her band was a two-time winner of the KTRU Battle of the Bands, winning the opening act for Slim Thug at KTRU’s annual music festival. JCBK released one self-titled album shortly before breaking up. Soon after becoming MALSI, she released her self-produced debut album, Hades. Hades is a powerhouse of soul, catchy and vibrant with ten tracks all penned by herself during various points of her life. Her fans say it’s a “unique combination of instrumentation that just works” paired with “moody, galaxy vocals.” Soon after the release, she started gaining radio play on college and community stations spanning from coast to coast.

Since the first album, her career skyrocketed; she's dropped 18 singles and 3 music videos (with a fourth currently in the works), landing her features in Medium, Voyage LA, TOO MUCH LOVE Magazine, among other online magazines and blogs. These releases also landed her placements on several playlists along with a devoted, growing fanbase. And, despite catching the eye of a major label, she's chosen to stay independent. Her newest single, Honey + M, is a collaboration between Simpatico (producer) and herself (vocals/lyrics) that dropped September 24, 2021.

Drummer Bio:

Yousef Shami is a drummer based in the DMV area. Upon picking up the drums in High School, it became apparent that it would become more than a hobby-- but a calling. As Yousef continued playing out in university and beyond, their aggressive, but tasteful approach to drums became well-known in the DC rock scene. Yousef is recognized for unique approaches to odd-time and displaced grooves, as well as genre-bending and challenging musical norms.

Scaffolded by a Civil Engineering degree and as an educator in the public school system, Yousef lives in the DC suburbs, pursuing the dream of teaching drums and continuing to be involved in multiple facets of the music scene on a daily basis.

Samuel Archer is an artist, songwriter, music producer, audio engineer, and author. He spoke with Harmonic Heart about his latest single "Quality" about making the most of time with people you love inspired by 9/11. Sam shared that learning the basics of various instruments during at his church choir in Tobago heightened his ability to produce music. Samuel Archer grew up in Bethany Village, Mt. Pleasant, Tobago W.I. When Samuel was five years old, his father bought a piano. He learned to play and it was then that his relationship with music and love for piano began. By the age of eight, he began playing the piano during church song service for his school. Eventually, Samuel took part in choir, orchestra and steel pan. At the age of fourteen, he was playing in the local hotels and assisting some of the local bands with musical direction.

Today Samuel Archer lives in the U.S. and is a celebrated songwriter, arranger, music producer, recording engineer, filmmaker and author. Samuel has taught music in both Tobago and the U.S. He holds a Music Business Bachelors of Science Degree from Full Sail University. He has worked on recordings spanning from 1989 to present which includes a catalog of his own independent musical works. Additionally, Samuel has a Digital Marketing Company, Samsdigital.net and an online entertainment and music publication, Muzilog.

Samuel has worked with artists and groups B2K, Horace Brown, 112, Courtney Fadlin, His Voice, Lovener Walcott, Aquannette Chinnery, Delroy Souden, Miriam Corlette Williams and Nhojj to mention a few. He has contributed music to TV shows - Dr. 90210, The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, Property Ladder, How Clean Is Your House, Millionaire Matchmaker and many others. He has also scored for films such as The Lockdown Club, All I Want, Moving In, Blue Suitcase, The Documentary: On The Road to Love Pain & Redemption and more.

Presently Samuel is working with Philadelphia native and celebrated singer, songwriter, and poet, Nadira Norjahan. In 2013 Samuel and Nadira joined creative forces and released Nadira Norjahan's Double A Side [2014], Nadira Norjahan's Double A Side, II [2015] and Love Pain & Redemption [2016], which is her full-length debut album.

Rakhel Israel is a DC-based percussionist. During our Harmonic Heart Interview, she outlined her musical/percussion journey. She described the spiritual, meditative, and renewing effects she experiences from percussion. As drumming is Rakhel's destiny, she feels a spiritual connection from this gift from God and feels affirmed because drumming has enabled her to connect with humans from various cultures across the world. She also spoke about how drumming has connected her to her heritage. Rakhel shared highlights of her drumming journey such as studying under master drummers during international travels and teaching children about drumming.
