  • His Glory, Her Good was designed specifically for women serving in student ministry. Through this podcast, we hope you’ll find us to be two new friends who want to partner with you in student ministry, equip you in your calling, and encourage you to press on. • Leading High School Girls
    Sep 9 2024

In this two-episode special, we want to give you a glimpse into a volunteer's perspective of leading high school and middle school girls! We ask questions like "why high school girls?" "What's your favorite part of volunteering?" "What's the most challenging part?" "What have you learned so far?"

Whether you are a volunteer, just thinking about volunteering, or you're leading a group of high school volunteers, there is no doubt that you will walk away more passionate about reaching 9th-12th grade girls. Let's learn from our volunteers, lean into what God is asking of us, and walk faithfully in obedience. It is worth it!

  • How Do I Know If I'm Okay?
    Sep 3 2024

You made it through the crazy summer. You might have snuck in a vacation or found yourself on a beach for at least for a few days. But fall is here! You're now getting to embrace all of the packed schedules, weekly programs, and lack of rest. It's so easy to "push through" and wait for that next weekend off, but don't let yourself keep going without first asking, "How am I actually doing?"

Aunt P is back to help us talk about how to take a pulse on our spiritual, mental, and emotional wellbeing. We don't want you to keep yourself so busy that you end up running yourself into the ground. So, how do you know if you're actually okay? Well, we hope you'll listen to this conversation and find out practical ways to answer that question.

If you haven't listened to our first Aunt P episode in Season 1, go back to it! It's episode 9 title "How to Seek and Refer Counseling." This is a resource to have in your back pocket not just for your teens, but for yourself.

Make sure to follow us @lifewaygirls and email us any feedback or questions at girls.ministry@lifeway.com.

  • Preparing to Teach
    Aug 26 2024

Whether you're teaching to 5 girls in a circle or 500 students from a stage, this episode is for you! Amanda and Corinne are giving you a glimpse into how they prepare to teach, what they've learned over the years, and how they prepare their hearts when they're just not feeling it. The hope is that you'll be challenged to not just grow in how you teach but how you get ready to teach.

If you're on ministry staff, you're likely planning your training schedule for this next year! There are two events that we'd encourage you to mark your calendars for:

Lifeway Women's Forum - November 7-8, 2024, Hendersonville TN (for any woman leading in ministry, not just staff!)

Experience - Coming May 2025, Nashville TN
