Craft comes from places, often from a place of love, and tradition. Being a songwriter propels into a class of brotherhood, and sisterhood of storytellers. I see this in filmmakers, in writers, in cooks, in athletes—any trade that is honed with love, sweat, endurance and personal expression.
My guest began making music with his family members, and he’s slowly carving out his own voice and expression. He beckons the call of classic pop songwriters of yesteryear, down to aesthetic choices.
