And then we spend the 2nd half of the show offering an improvised ambient soundscape, a space for contemplation, awe, reflection, and perhaps grief. There is a very low likelihood that these species will survive the 21st Century. And so perhaps we might acknowledge their passage with a moment of our attention, a recognition of our kinship, and with a commitment to personal and systemic change. Thank you for listening.
