  • The LISK (Long Island Serial Killer) investigation began in May 2010 with the disappearance of sex worker Shannan Gilbert. In the following months, Suffolk County Police uncovered human remains from nine more murders, including those of the "Gilgo 4", all sex workers whose bodies were disposed of similarly. After years of virtually no new developments, Suffolk County Police arrested Rex Heuermann in connection with the murder of at least 3 victims. DNA evidence, cellphone records and witness accounts of a Chevrolet Avalanche truck all led to police zeroing in on Heuermann. As prosecutors prepare for the upcoming trial, details and accounts of Heuermann's life and behavior continue to be uncovered. Good perspective

I thought this was a very gripping podcast. really well put together, and I especially liked hearing the viewpoints of friends and family of the poor victims. it gives them a voice when they seem to have been forgotten by the justice system.

Whether you know a little or a lot, everything you need to know about the crimes regarding The Long Island Serial Killer is in this podcast, many key players interviewed, in depth back story and information regarding each of the victims, their stories relayed by family or friends, includes a number of resources for the listener to visit for further information including the website. Not someone jumping on the bandwagon due to recent coverage, years worth of research and interviews make this the best LISK podcast I’ve heard!! Please keep covering!!
