  • La sera del 23 maggio 1915, Luigi Cadorna sale su un treno, diretto a Udine. Alla sua partenza, in stazione, ci sono, per salutarlo, Antonio Salandra e Sidney Sonnino, vale a dire il Presidente del consiglio e il ministro degli esteri, i due personaggi che avevano portato l’Italia in guerra, una guerra che sarebbe iniziata di lì a poche ore, alle 00.00 del 24 maggio 1915.
