This was a little earlier than expected, but thanks to the goodness of God both mother and child are happy and healthy.

Today, in John 8:48-59, we conclude Jesus' time in the temple at the Feast of Tabernacles. As Jesus dialogues with the Jewish leaders, He makes clear to them what He can offer and that they should respond with joy! But how do they respond instead? By picking up rocks to stone Him...

Your spiritual identity matters more than your physical identity, and depends on how we respond to Jesus' invitation to be adopted into His spiritual family. Our actions and words are reflections of that identity: if God is your spiritual Father, then you listen to a love Jesus, but the father of those who reject Jesus is the Devil, and they reflect his desires, actions, and character.
