• VGK shut out by Isles 4-0 on home ice
    Jan 10 2025
The Golden Knights played their first game of three in the next four nights, but looked like they were on the tail end of the weekend. A lackluster effort by VGK against the Islanders, as they were beaten in nearly every phase. VGK had a goal reversed after Tomas Hertl entered the zone offside. He finished the sequence with a goal, but it was taken off the board. VGK had the wind taken out of its sails after that. Another Eastern team outplayed VGK especially in the area of physicality and winning puck battles. VGK has a couple of games this weekend - they play the Rangers and Wild at home, Saturday and Sunday. We preview those games and we have comments from fans on WTF.
