The offseason of change continues at Nebraska as more prospects from the transfer portal schedule January visits to Lincoln. With all that Matt Rhule has to juggle – coaching moves and revenue sharing included – the first six months of 2025 are set to challenge everything about the way that Rhule has built his college programs.

The January wave of transfer portal activity is well underway. And Nebraska’s chasing a big fish. The Huskers are targeting offensive tackle Elijah Pritchett, a 12-game starter at Alabama last season. Could he solve an uneasy situation for Nebraska as it seeks help this offseason up front on offense?

Ed Foley is out after two seasons as the Nebraska special teams coordinator. News broke over a busy weekend that the Huskers and Matt Rhule will be searching for Foley’s replacement this month after the Huskers’ struggles in the kicking, coverage and returns phase forced a change.
