The Tennessee Titans continued putting in requests for interviews on Thursday as they search for their next general manager and some of the interesting candidates that got a call would be a good fit for the Titans. The Titans do need to make this decision quickly. Tyler explains why this decision must happen fast and lays out the timeline of when we should get word on who will be hired. Finally, the Titans lost the most stable part of their franchise on Thursday when broadcaster Mike Keith announced he would be leaving the team to take the same job with the Tennessee Volunteers and while this move doesn't affect the on-field product, it certainly symbolizes a critical moment in franchise history.

The Tennessee Titans got started on replacing Ran Carthon on Wednesday as they began requesting interviews for new general managers. The Tennessee Titans fired Ran Carthon as general manager and it became very clear that Chad Brinker is the man with the football power for the Tennessee Titans. Brinker has worked his way around Carthon for a spot even higher than general manager. Which makes the general manager title mean something entirely different that what it typically does in professional sports. Knowing this should reset our expectations for what to expect. All of this may be good for the Tennessee Titans, but the process to get here has not been. This is a messy situation and leaves a stain on the franchise's public image.

The Tennessee Titans have FIRED GM Ran Carthon after only two seasons in a move that makes little sense and makes the Titans look like the worst franchise in the NFL. This is another example of the Titans having zero direction as a team and the statements released by the team following the firing make things even more confusing going forward. However, there is an optimistic way to view this and Tyler does his best to showcase it.

The Tennessee Titans have been rumored to be considering firing general manager Ran Carthon and if that is the move they want to make, Brian Callahan needs to be fired with him. Having a new GM and a coach on the hot seat is a bad combination. However, the Titans should not fire Ran Carthon and his track record with player acquisition is exactly why. Finally, if the Titans do make a move away from Carthon, Chad Brinker taking over the general manager role could be a likely outcome.

The Tennessee Titans take on the Houston Texans in their finals game of the 2024 season and there are major stakes at play that lead the Titans to only one logical option: LOSE. The Titans will need to focus on their quarterback rotation to ensure that they do not come out victorious.
