An article written by Bruce Donald Campbell, (2016). It details an overview of the history of video game music. This is will cover my personal take away from the back ground section and the importance of video music. 

Games are a great way to simulate life, but they can't recreate it. 

Not the frozen song, but diving into the unknown and how we truly react to the uncertainty of the situation. 

The persona series has a lot of themes and stories. Breaking off from the main SMT games, these games usually take place in a modern Japan, with a cast of high school students. One point I see in the game are the resolve in the characters. 

We play games, listen to music, and watch movies to distract ourselves. We enjoy messing around in a games, listening to a catchy tune or watching a story unfold. This past week, I've been distracting myself, but using games, movies and music with a darker tone...how does that help distract yourself from the reality you are trying to ignore?
