  • gratitude
    Nov 18 2022

This was supposed to be a much shorter episode than it was, but I'm glad I let it flow. In this episode we dive into how I got started with my gratitude practice, what it means to be deeply grateful in your day to day life, and lastly, how no amount of achievements, wealth or fame will make you happy if you don't first learn to enjoy the current season of your life and find beauty in the day-to-day stuff.

p.s. there is a part of the episode where I said 2001 and and I totally meant 2021.

An episode focused on metal health feels timely as we head into winter, when a lot of people deal with seasonal depression related to the weather or difficult feelings around the holidays. Also, Selena Gomez today dropped her documentary called My Mind & Me, where she talks about her own struggles with mental health and I felt deeply inspired by her. It's only on Apple TV so get your free trial if you haven't already and check it out.

In this episode I talk about a few short and long term preventative actions I take when I start to feel myself spiral or that I use to try and pull myself out of a rut.

I mention the book called The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle and Jay Shetty's podcast--On Purpose, in here in case you are interested.

  • healing your inner child
    Sep 29 2022

What's up ducks? I recently realized the bulk of my inner child healing was done, and that I have moved on to healing my inner teenager. In this episode I share some perspectives that helped me get through that part of my life. I talk about not taking things personally, Maslow's hierarchy of needs, and a book called Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse, among other things.
