Nordic Mythology Podcast

By: Daniel Farrand
  • Summary

  • Have you ever wondered "What is a Viking?", "Were Vikings tattooed?" or "Did they ever REALLY use the Blood Eagle? If so, then this is the right podcast for YOU.

In this podcast, follow along Daniel Farrand's (Owner of Horns of Odin) journey as he tries to make sense of the complex history of the Viking Age and Nordic Mythology, through easy to digest, funny, natural (and often very honest) conversations.

Daniel is joined by Co-Host (and in house archaeologist) Margrethe Havgar, as the pair are joined by a host of guests; which include world leading scholars and Viking Age creators, to world renowned musicians and movie stars.

So, if you've ever asked "Were Runes used for magic?" or "is Thor REALLY the only person who can lift his hammer?". We'll definitely have an episode on it

But be prepared to be told, "It's Complicated."

Excellent podcast

I love the format that these two have set up here.
A (vocally obese) professor and a (d*CK obsessed) horn carver discussing various topics, I've learnt more here than I have in recent years.
Fantastic work, keep it up guys!
