We are back! This is the “Not Your Common Conversation Podcast" featuring Chris Downing and Omar Henderson, and on this week’s episode, Chris and Omar start very briefly on the vice presidential debate, before Chris catches us up on his recent travels with a group globetrotters over seas in Morocco. Everything from the architecture, to the food, to the people. That leads to a conversation on the arts, which Chris of course is very well versed in, and how the United States has a newness to it culturally when contrasted to traditions and cultures abroad. Afterwords, Omar shares what he has been recovering from and how he has a new more positive outlook on his job now that he is eligible for retirement. The guys then touch on “haunting” thoughts where they come from, before showing love to the hometown football team, the Washington Commanders, their recent success and the importance of good energy. In this very special 24th episode of the "Not Your Common Conversation Podcast" featuring Chris Downing and Omar Henderson, we bring Dominic and Brandon back to celebrate our 1 year podcast anniversary! We start by catching up on each others weeks before an impromptu conversation about cars, apparently Omar’s favorite subject. After we discuss what’s more important, what you say or how you say it? This leads to a discussion about wide receiver Tyreek Hill, and his resent arrest by Miami PD. From there we briefly touch on community policing and if it’s a good idea. Topics also include, race and if we are better off apart than together, what Omar’s having for dinner, Chris’s view on finding common ground, and Dominic gives a very interesting take on the Presidental debate that took place between former president Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. Enjoy and happy anniversary lucky listeners!
