• How is Your Relationship with Alcohol?
    Jul 12 2024

Alcohol has become almost a staple in our lives – we rely on it to help us socialize, unwind, celebrate, and cope with life’s difficulties. It’s normalized as an everyday beverage, often consumed with breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner, or just because. Most of us have heard others say they “need a drink”, if we haven’t said so ourselves. But do we ~really~ need that drink?

Our relationships with alcohol can be such a personal, sensitive, and even confusing topic, which is exactly why I’m diving into it. This episode is not to shame or embarrass anyone, or to make a moral statement – it’s simply a topic I find interesting and worth discussing, and I hope you do too!

  • Reflect & Redirect
    Jun 28 2024

    WE’RE BACK! Forreal this time.

After a few months away ✨reflecting and redirecting✨ I’m back with a podcast rebrand and a renewed excitement for the show. On My’s Mind is a show where I talk about anything and everything – from mental health to relationships, to current events and social trends. My mind is always racing and I have so many thoughts about so many things. I’ll still talk about mental health and wellness because that’s my ~thing~ but I have sooo much more that I want to share, so it only felt right to expand the podcast to cover it all! This week, I’m talking about all things podcast rebrand, and sharing more about where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to lately. I hope you enjoy this episode and the new-ish show, and that you’ll stick around!

Editor’s note: I recorded the second half of the show when I was regaining my voice after losing it from being sick, so if I sound quieter and raspier, that’s why! I’m also learning the new editing platform the Spotify for Podcasters rolled out, so bear with me!

  • Software Update | resetting our bodies, minds, and spaces
    Nov 6 2023

I've been in a rut lately... and unfortunately, I don't think I'm alone in that. Maybe it's the changing of seasons, or the events and anniversaries that pop up this time of year - regardless of whatever is causing this, I just know I need to reset, a refresh, a software update.

This week's episode is all about giving ourselves that change in perspective, that energy, that software update, if you will. Throughout the episode, I share some books that I've tuned to during difficult moments, as well as some habits and behaviors I try to incorporate into my daily life when trying to get into a better space mentally and emotionally. I hope these prompts, tips, and exercises are helpful, whether or not you're feeling low! Books: Dawn and Dusk 642 Tiny Things to Draw Enjoying Where I'm At (dupe) The Little Book of Mindfulness

  • Staying Well During Challenging Times | Current Events & Mental Health
    Oct 23 2023
In this week’s episode, I give an unfiltered, unedited, brain dump of my thoughts and feelings surrounding some current events and how these events intersect with mental health. Regardless of what you may be seeing online, know that taking care of yourself and your mental health during times like these - albeit a privilege - is healthy and necessary. You should never feel guilty for trying to keep your head above water. ————————— CW: this episode talks about depression, oppression, and violence in relation to current events. If this is something that is hard for you to hear, consider listening to some of the previous episodes. ————————— Now, and always, stay well.
