Originally recorded as a gift during the Covid-19 lockdowns to cheer folk who were isolating at home, these stories are on the rough-and-ready side - unedited and of somewhat varying audio quality, just as Tom recorded them nightly in our attic bedroom ... or in the library if the fire was on. Together they create an important Orkney Islands heritage sound archive.
