He served for over 37 years in the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW), India's external intelligence agency. He was a part of the hostage rescue team during the Flight IC814 hijacking crisis. Post-retirement, he continues to focus on India’s western neighbours.This is the second conversation on Puliyabaazi with Mr. Arni. As we write this post, this situation is still evolving and it will take some time before the long term consequences of these attacks will be clear. However, the attacks on civilian communication devices have certainly raised serious doubts about the safety and security of hardware supply chains. What will be the impact of this on global supply chains of hardware components? How will different countries respond to this?
