Massively fascinating.

All of the works of Mike Duncan are thorough, empathic, direct and incredibly interesting. Mike walks us through the buildup, history, surrounding world and main characters of some of history most fascinating and chaotic times. As with all of his prior works, this is amazing, with no dull moments.
The way Mike will dive into explaining as much he can, to keep you on an understanding footing is honestly applaudable. I recommend this to any and all who wants to hear me out.

Some of history’s greatest events made easy to understand and fun to listen through.

Mike Duncan expertly weaves the story of some of history’s greatest events into a fun easy listen. He manages to keep the story interesting and informative while not getting bogged down in names, places and dates like so many others.
A must listen for anyone remotely interested in world history.

Wonderful

A fantastic series. Mike Duncan goes into great detail but with humour and a lightness of touch, covering Revolutions from 17C to the Soviet Union. Superb.
