  • In this episode we meet Lucie whose life changed in an instant at the age of 19 when she was runover by a tractor whilst trying to help her mum. The unbreakable bond they share meant despite having extensive injuries, her priority was not to let her Mum see her suffer incase that was the last memory of her that her Mum would have. We also meet Sam who is the ward manager of the Major Trauma Centre who talks about the impact staff and patients have on eachothers lives and how invested staff become in aiding a patients recovery.
