    Christopher Gordon is a global leader, champion for innovation and passionate advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion and entrepreneurial success. Chris is a mentor, coach and human equity advocate. He's also a soccer dad and singer-songwriter.


    Chris is a Partner within the People Advisory Practice of EY Canada. As the leader of EY Law’s Global Immigration practice, Chris serves clients in over 130 countries. He has advised and served some of the largest Canadian, global and Fortune100 corporations in his 20+ year career in professional services.


    Chris also serves as Director of the EY Entrepreneurial Access Network (Canada), which is an accelerator program helping Black and Indigenous business founders in Canada grow their businesses. He is also Co-Director of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year® (EOY) Ontario program.


    Outside of his day-to-day, Chris serves on the board of Margaret’s Housing and Community Support Services, a leading charity addressing the needs of at-risk unhoused people living with mental health in Toronto. He is also serves on the governance committee of the board.


    Chris is a proud husband to Janine, his wife of 20 years and father to their two sons Judah and Elijah.

    Marianne Meed Ward is a Canadian politician and former journalist who has served as the 29th and current mayor of Burlington, Ontario since 2018.


    Marianne Meed Ward started working for Faith Today magazine in 1989, becoming managing editor in 1996. She resigned from her position in February 1999 following a 'change in direction' at the magazine. She launched her own communications business, Meed Ward Media, providing writing, editorial, consulting or teaching services to a range of clients including Chatelaine, Vision TV, Ryerson University, Tyndale College, CHCH TV, Crossroads Communications, and the Toronto Sun where she served as a weekly columnist covering faith and ethics, and later covering the 905 area of Toronto.


    In October 2022 she was re-elected for a second term, winning 77.95% of the popular vote and receiving almost 25,000 more votes than the runner-up. Marianne Meed Ward ran on a platform for reasonable development, adding more community centres and parks, and cutting red tape. She currently resides in Burlington with her husband Peter and their three children.

    Rev. Dr. Andrew Bennett is the Program Director of Faith Communities at Cardus. He is an ordained deacon in the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church in the Eparchy (Diocese) of Toronto and Eastern Canada. Andrew is Program Director of Faith Communities at Cardus.

    A champion of religious freedom domestically and internationally, he has served as Canada’s first Ambassador for Religious Freedom and led Global Affairs Canada’s Office of Religious Freedom from 2013 to 2016. He simultaneously served as Canada’s Head of Delegation to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA). When not praying, studying, or advocating, Fr. Andrew can be found with his fly rod in a stream, listening to bluegrass or Beethoven, or reading the Church Fathers.

    Rev. Dr. Andrew Stirling was the Senior Minister of Timothy Eaton Memorial United Church in Toronto, one of Canada’s largest United Church congregations and was responsible for leadership and administration at Timothy Eaton from 1998 until his more recent retirement. Overseeing staff, providing visionary leadership, acting as the public representative of over 1,500 members and managing a dynamic and ever-evolving ministry to the city of Toronto and beyond.

    He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Law from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, a Master of Divinity from the Atlantic School of Theology in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and a Doctor of Ministry in preaching from Acadia Divinity College, Wolfville, Nova Scotia. In 2008, Wycliffe College, Toronto, recognized his contribution to preaching with an honorary Doctor of Divinity.

    Rev. Dr. Andrew Stirling is now the Ambassador for the Canadian Bible Society building relationships with churches, academic institutions, and individuals across Canada.
