  • Homicide 17-274549 Patterson and Gracia
    Oct 25 2024

    On June 20, 2017 the Lee County Sheriff’s responded to a report of two deceased individuals in a house on 3rd StreetWest in Lehigh Acres Florida. Upon arrival deputies would discover 22 year old Brian Keith Patterson Jr. and 27 year old Shantrese Gracia shot to death inside Brian’s home. Brian Patterson Sr. discovered the bodies when he went to the home to let the dogs out.

    Shantrese was a daughter, sister, and single mother, Brian was an inspiring musician. She was there for only one night, her last night of her life. Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the shooter or shooters, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

  • Homicide 96-046691 - Steven Zinzow
    Aug 15 2024

    On March 23, 1996, the Lee County Sheriff’s responded to a report of a shooting in San Carlos Park, Florida. Upon arrival on scene, deputies discovered 28 year old Steven Zinzow with one fatal gun shot to the chest in front of his girlfriend’s home. Further investigation revealed Steven was killed trying to stop a would be intruder in the early morning hours.

    Steven was with his girlfriend Kimberly and her two young children at her home at the time of his death. Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible for this crime, and request that anyone with information contact the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

  • Homicide 18-187227 Destiney Bocanegra
    Aug 7 2024

    On April 21, 2018, the Lee County Sheriff’s responded to a report of a just occurred shooting in Bonita Springs, Florida. Upon arrival on scene, deputies discovered 25 year old Destiney Bocanegra shot to death outside of a friend’s home. Further investigation revealed she was a victim of a drive-by shooting in the late hours of the night.

    Destiney was pregnant at the time of her death, and was the mother of a small child. Unfortunately, her child was present that night and witnessed the shooting. Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible for this crime, and request that anyone with information contact the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
