Welcome back to Truth Worth Living, where we seek to understand God’s word so we can live in God’s will. Over the next few weeks, we’re diving deep into the lives of the 12 disciples—the ordinary men Jesus called to be His closest followers. We talk about them often, but how well do we truly know them? Join us as we uncover their stories, their struggles, and the incredible transformation that took place when they answered Jesus' call. 🌟 💬 Quick Challenge: Can you name all 12 disciples? Give it a try! Here’s a quick refresher if you need it: Simon Peter Andrew James John Philip Bartholomew (Nathanael) Matthew Thomas James (Son of Alphaeus) Simon the Zealot Judas (Son of James, also known as Thaddeus) Judas Iscariot After a night of prayer, Jesus chose these 12 not because they were extraordinary, but because they were available. He transformed their weaknesses into strengths and sent them out as apostles—representatives empowered to carry His message with His authority. Just like the disciples, when we make ourselves available to God, He can use our ordinary lives in extraordinary ways. 🙏💫 This is a truth worth trusting, and this is Truth Worth Living. Help us spread the word! Like, share, and join us on this journey to learn more about the 12 disciples who changed the world. 🌍 #TruthWorthLiving #Disciples #TheCall #BibleStudy

Welcome back to Truth Worth Living, where we seek to understand God’s word so we can live in God’s will. 🌿 In today’s world, many focus on personal peace, and we see a rise in identity politics, with everyone demanding tolerance for their views. Yet, as followers of Jesus, it often feels like we’re the exception to that rule. But should we be surprised? Jesus told us, “In this world, you will have trouble.” (John 16:33) In the 8th Beatitude, He blessed those who are persecuted for His sake: Matthew 5:10 "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." 💡 Here are three things to consider: 1️⃣ Not all suffering means we’ve done something wrong. Sometimes, we suffer for doing what’s right. 2️⃣ We shouldn’t pursue persecution. It’s our context, not our complex. When it happens, it happens. 3️⃣ The blessing comes when we’re persecuted for righteousness’ sake—living like Jesus: turning the other cheek, loving our enemies, and humbling ourselves for God’s glory. When we live like Christ and face opposition, the kingdom of heaven is ours, and that’s a truth worth living! Help us share the message—like and share with your friends! 🙏✨ #TruthWorthLiving #Beatitudes #Blessed #Faith
