  • On this episode of Sooner State of Mind, stoke levels are rising! The Sooners have their quarterback! John Mateer officially joined the Sooners this week. Panic was setting in with all of the Sooner departures via the transfer portal, but when news hit that Mateer would be joining Ben Arbuckle on the Sooners for 2025, the stoke outweighed the panic, and Sooner Nation collectively sighed in relief. We will also hit a few of the other players joining Mateer for 2025. We also preview the first-round matchups for the first edition of the 12-team College Football Playoff. We check in with Betonline to check out the point spreads for the first-round games. We also checked in with Ticketmaster to find out how much it would cost to attend one of those first-round games. It's going to be an awesome weekend of football including an NFL doubleheader to go along with the Playoff tripleheader.
