Kim Hoey Stevenson, Former Vice President of the Sussex County Planning Commission and of the Milford Planning Commission discusses Sussex County Planning & Zoning Commission and ways that a citizen might become a Commissioner, terms of appointment, and compensation. She talks about the scope of the job and processes surrounding decisions on P&Z issues that affect all conty residents.

SPC President Jane Gruenebaum interviews Vice President Jill Hicks, whose own activism has led her to delve into the structures of government and determine easy ways to interact with decision makers.

He discusses ecosystems and also stresses the value of mature trees, which are lost whenever clearcutting takes place.
