In this weeks episode of Tales Of The Beard, Beard Laws reads the fictional story The Last Signal. Where a young woman named Hudson in the small town of Newton Falls encounters a strange light in the sky and follows it to a mysterious metallic structure. She hears a voice in her mind, revealing that Earth is in danger and offering her the power to save it. Hudson accepts and prepares for the impending catastrophe, but is dismissed by the townspeople. As the sky changes and the ground shakes, Hudson goes to the structure and is transported to a cosmic void. She confronts a malevolent force and uses her newfound power to defeat it, sacrificing herself in the process. Hudson wakes up in the clearing, knowing she has saved the world.
