    Dec 30 2024

I used to train by heart rate zone, loved it. Then I moved to training by pace, loved it even more. Then I discovered training by RPE and it's been a game changer. Free yourself from your smartwatch and learn to run by feel.

Incidentally, all my podium finishes have been after racing by feel. I know, seems unlikely but it's true.

How does one bang off a 70.3 with minimal training? Why would someone do that? What motivates such a person? Well, listen to my conversation and find out.
