About Andrew Brown I was 23 years old in New York City on September 11th, 2001. And much like most Americans, that day changed my life forever. Expecting what should have been just another Tuesday… I, and all of us, were met with tragedy. I knew I had to do something. I called up an old friend and we headed to the trade center site in a big blue truck with an American flag waving proudly behind us. We weren’t really sure what we were going to be met with when we reached ground zero but what I saw deeply moved me. A community of helpers. From EMS, to firefighters, to tradespeople. I was working back to back with those trying to make a difference and finding survivors. I was deeply moved by this experience personally and it really sparked my professional transition. From then on I knew I wanted to be a voice for the unsung heroes who dig deep each and every day to keep our communities thriving. I left my IT job and began my work advocating for the trades. That is when I decided to build Toolfetch alongside my brother. Toolfetch was born www.toolfetch.com Andrew is the CEO and co-founder alongside his brother of Toolfetch, one of the largest on-line eCommerce companies focused on tools, equipment, and safety supplies for the Industrial & Construction Supply Industry. STAC Skilled Trades Advisory Coucil: The mission of STAC is to unite the skill trades community and inspire North America's youth to consider related careers in the professional trades. We leverage our resources, knowledge and networks to advocate for the Trades with a focus on the next generation to come. And we believe this all starts with awareness and education. At the high-school level we must construct an image of the Trades that elevates its value and reward as a career path for students. We shift the pre-programmed expectation of “college”. And we ignite their curiosity through hands-on experience. At the Trades level, we need to position ourselves as an alternative to the “4-year degree” expectation. There is a world beyond what a college degree can afford them, and the trades should be marketed as such. At the national level, we envision an awareness campaign that positions the trades as a lucrative career path in which they will ALWAYS be needed, as the Trades are what make the world turn for all of us. Inaugural members of STAC include senior leaders from across the construction, retail, facilities management, and skilled trades industries who are ready to create awareness and opportunities of the growing need for skilled trades men and women Follow Andrew Brown YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@Toolfetch LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/andrew-brown-b1736a5/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@andrew.l.brown Website: https://www.toolfetch.com

    Barbie the Welders Bio:

I knew I was meant to be a metal sculptor when I saw the woman welding giant angel wings in the movie Cast Away starring Tom Hanks. I attended BOCES for welding & after graduation was hired at a local custom fabrication shop. I spent the next 5 years working with highly skilled craftsmen & learning everything I could about welding & fabrication. I spent every minute I wasn't at my job in my garage teaching myself how to design & create metal art. On September 1, 2014, after earning my Journeyman distinction in iron plate & sheet metal, I quit the job I loved to follow my dream of being a metal sculptor.

My unparalleled craftsmanship & innovative designs have allowed me to create one of a kind masterpieces for some of the world’s most iconic brands including Harley Davidson (2), & Baker's Bourbon (5). I've written & published six books, & taught thousands of people how to weld art through my YouTube Channel.
