For this episode of The Mental Threads I will be interviewing a returning guest in my Liberian Brother Kuroma The Sage and my new associate Z0NE BEATZZ both from Durham, NC. We had just come from a Carolina Waves event at The Evening Muse. They were both mesmerized by how just a taste of the Charlotte Rap Scene was so welcoming to them and how free they were networking with everyone that attended. I catch up with Kuroma The Sage since our last Interview while getting more acquainted to Z0NE BEATZZ. We speak about the differences regarding the cities of Durham and Charlotte and the respective Rap Communities of both. We have an extensive conversation regarding artist relations and the ups and downs that come with trying to build community in Charlotte as well as in Durham NC.
