    Uri Brito has been senior pastor of Providence Church in Pensacola for 16 years, which is Presbyterian in affiliation.

    Uri did his graduate and doctoral work in pastoral ministry at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida, under the tutelage of past podcast guest and former member of Beverly Heights, John Frame.

    While studying under Frame, Uri changed denominations within Presbyterianism. Among other things, he came to believe that communion should be served weekly; that worshippers should sing boldly; and that children should be present with their parents in worship.
