It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.

In this opening line from the classic Charles Dickens novel a A Tale Of Two Cities, never has a quote. It’s so close to home and resonated so deeply as in the appropriate description of season four of The Suffering Podcast.

In this episode, Kevin Donaldson and Tom Flynn sit down in a retrospective look at the incredible highs, as well as the incredible lows. But as always, there is a lesson in triumph, just as certain, as there is a lesson in suffering.
