In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 2:12. This verse says, "To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;" We look at what lies beneath the surface of this verse, why we need this deliverance, what exactly we're being delivered from and who the men are who are speaking these froward things. We also take a closer look at what constitutes froward speech and why it's something we need to be delivered from.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon, we look at Proverbs 2:11. It says, "Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee." We look at what it means for discretion and understanding to keep us and what we need to be protected from. We look at what this reveals to us about the plan of the enemy and how God perfectly provides for our safety and protection.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 2:10. This verse says, "When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul." We look at what it means for wisdom to enter into our heart and how that relates to God entering into our heart. We also look at why knowledge is pleasant to our soul and why it's important that it's in reference to the soul specifically.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 2:9. This verse says, "Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path." We look at what each of these, righteousness, judgment and equity mean for us as believers and what it actually means for us to truly understand them and put them in to action. These three go together and they're each predicated on the previous one, we need all three and we're called to have, understand and operate in all three.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 2:8. This verse says, "He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints." We look at what it means for us that He preserves the paths of judgement and what that looks like in our everyday lives and we also look at what it means and looks like for Him to preserve our way as His saints. We have an incredible promise here of His protection and guidance and it's important that we understand all the incredible things He has and desires for His people.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 2:7. This verse says, "He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly." We look at what exactly it means that He lays up sound wisdom, who exactly the righteous are, what exactly it means that He's our buckler and what it means to walk uprightly. This promise of God's gift of wisdom and His protection is available to us today, if only we'll receive it.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 2:6. This verse says, "For the Lord giveth wisdom: Out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding." We look at what it means and why it is that God gives wisdom and how we can receive this gift that He freely offers. We also look at why it's from His mouth specifically that knowledge and understanding come and how we can receive these from His mouth as well.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 2:5. This verse says, "Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God." We look at what exactly it means to fear the Lord and how it differs from 'fear' as we commonly understand it.] and the difference it makes when we have a good, working understanding of it. We also look at what the knowledge of God means, why we have to find it and how we find it.
