  • In this episode, we’re going to explore democracy from a variety of periods and perspectives throughout history.

    We’re going to touch on Ancient Greece, The Roman Republic, the founding fathers of the United States, the fall of the Weimar Republic and the rise of the Nazis, Woodrow Wilson, and a lot more.

    My hope is that after this framing of Democracy, some of the issues being debated today, like the electoral college, for example, will make a bit more sense and you’ll understand why pure Democracy, especially in the context of an all-powerful centralized government, is not the cure-all many make it out to be.
