Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. - John 14:23

As Christ lives in us, the things we are doing or not doing both represent him. As his vicars, when we visit, feed, heal, and serve, He does that to those people; when we don't, the people in need get the message. He doesn't care.
