VOC Veterans Of Color takes a historical dive into a bunch of warriors who wanted a better life for themselves and others. American military intersectionality goes back to the early 1800s with the formation of the St Patrick's Battalion by many US military men who were poor, Irish, and other European immigrants, Catholics, escaped slaves, freed, and African Americans.
