In today’s episode I do a deep dive into AVOID MOVING TO HOUSTON… Unless You Can Handle These 7 NEGATIVES. A lot of the questions that I get from my YouTube channel, I have a lot to do with things that people have heard or read about living in Texas. So we're going to talk about it. I love being brutally honest. I've done that in all of my videos and I have an outsiders perspective because local people just like if you're local to you or your whole life you just kind of take things for granted you don't know. What new people moving there are like? I will go through a few of these things that just caught me completely off guard here in Texas. Some of the things I will talk about in this episodes are j like the weather, you know hurricanes the bug snakes, the heat, the high property taxes, and then there's just some quirky random stuff that I want to talk about, like. Water heaters up in the attic and these little half inch white drain pipes that always get clogged and they overflow. And if you sensors broke it's gonna go into your ceiling and having to change my air filters in my air conditioning unit. HVAC system like monthly if not every three weeks I'm used to Idaho where you do it quarterly but these things run constantly. Power bills. You think you would just pay a power company, right? (I have talked about this on my previous episode check it out!)

Those are the kind of things that I love helping you with, and I've had dozens and dozens of reach outs of people just like thank you. This is finally a perspective of somebody because you talk to the locals here. First of all it is the beginning of August definitely typically one of the hottest times of the year. And right now It feels like fall time. Everybody knows it's hot here in in Texas, especially South Texas. But it's what like our heat usually is not 100 degree heat. It's upper 80s lower 90s with humidity and the humidity that should bite you. One thing you just have to live with here in in Texas is just the heat and it's a lot more humid. There's a lot more to hear and I know you will be interested as anybody would be!
