    For the second time in a month, Kamloops Blazers F Nathan Behm has been named the Tempo WHL Player of the Month. Behm put up 10 points last week, helping the Blazers to a 2-1 record. He'll round out the show.

    WHL This Week - Radio Edition - has two WHL players on who had great weeks. Both Victoria Royals F Cole Reschny and Calgary Hitmen F Ben Kindel were two of 10 WHL'ers named to the two-game CHL USA Prospects Challenge presented by Kubota. Both were two of 55 WHL'ers named to NHL Central Scouting's Preliminary Players to Watch list. Kindel was also named the Tempo WHL Player of the Week. We'll hear from both.

    Former Kelowna Rockets D Luke Schenn recently passed the 1000 career NHL games milestone with the Nashville Predators. Hear from Schenn on his time in the WHL and how it laid the foundation for his success at the NHL level.

    Also, former five-year Tri-City American Connor Bouchard was recently honoured by the Mount Royal Cougars for his 2023-24 USPORTS Men's Hockey Player of the Year Award. The WHL's Cami Kepke was there and chatted with Bouchard as they embark on another Canada West season with championship aspirations.

    It's an all players edition of WHL This Week - Radio Edition.

    First, 2022-23 Four Broncos Memorial Trophy Winner Connor Bedard was recently back through Western Canada with the Chicago Blackhawks. Connor reminisces about his time with the Regina Pats and his last time in Calgary at the Saddledome where he played in front of over 17,000 fans as Bedard Mania swept across the WHL.

    Tri-City Americans D Jackson Smith is a potential 1st round pick in the upcoming 2025 NHL Draft. The 6-3 defenseman is off to a good start this season and we learn more about the Calgary, AB native who is a 2nd generation WHL talent.

    This year, the WHL features a very talented crop of 16 year-old talent. It's led by 2023 WHL Prospects Draft 1st overall pick D Dax Rudolph of the Prince Albert Raiders. He'll join us as the Raiders hit the road for the BC Division tour.

    Finally, Vancouver Giants veteran D Mazden Leslie has been named the Tempo WHL Player of the Week - he'll wrap up the show.
